Rex Tillerson

Rex Tillerson is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Exxon Mobil Corporation. He joined the Exxon Company in 1975 as a production engineer. He has since held a number of different positions within the company including President of Exxon Yemen Inc. and Esso Exploration and Production Khorat Inc.; Vice President of Exxon Ventures (CIS) Inc.; President of Exxon Neftegas Limited; and Executive Vice President of Exxon Mobil Development Company. Tillerson is a member of the Executive Committee and Policy Committee of the American Petroleum Institute. He is also a trustee of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Tillerson earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.
